New Seeland players needed to abandon UAE series: Sources

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan Cricket Board  had to contact their New Seeland counterpart so as to convert the Kiwi team to continue with their series within the United Arab Emirates following the tragic death of Australian hitter Phil Hughes.
A well knowing supply within the PCB told PTI on Saturday that when the news of Hughes death in an exceedingly Sydney hospital become familiar early Thursday morning the New Seeland players were reluctant to continue with the series.
Understandably a number of their players knowing their management they were badly disturbed and dismayed by Hughes death and weren't in an exceedingly state of mind to continue with the tour," he said.
