Bangladesh's Taijul Islam grabs hat-trick on ODI debut

Young East Pakistan spinner Taijul Islam on Monday became the primary bowler in history to say a hat-trick on his debut in one-day cricket, achieving the deed against Zimbabwe in Dacca.
The 22-year-old left-armer bowled Tinashe Panyangara off the last ball of the twenty seventh over and so unfree John Nyumbu leg-before and bowled Tendai Chatara off serial deliveries at the beginning of his next over to require a split hat-trick.
Islam finished with four for eleven in seven overs as Zimbabwe, trailing 4-0 within the series, were shot out for 128 once selecting to bat within the fifth and final game at the Sher-e-Bangla sports stadium.
