Punjab: Against SAD BJP government Congress moves no-confidence motion

Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal adopted the motion and assigned 2 hours for the discussion. The ruling unhappy BJP alliance has been assigned seventy two minutes, Congress forty five minutes and Independents 3 minutes. Jakhar requested the Speaker to allot ten minutes out of its quota to the Independents.

Congress on Tues moved  a no-confidence motion against the Akali Dal-BJP alliance government within the geographical region Assembly. Leader of Opposition Sunil Jakhar moved  the motion on issue of drug menace in geographical region and also the failure of the Parkash Singh Badal-led government to ascertain the trade and providing patronage thereto

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal yesterday aforesaid the SAD-BJP mix government absolutely and fain accepts the challenge of the Opposition. BJP state President Kamal Sharma too aforesaid BJP wouldn't play within the hands of the Congress and would firmly stand by unhappy because it is a very important partner of NDA government at the Centre therefore there's no doubt of supporting the no confidence motion.

The no confidence motion has been moved  in background of the summons issued by social control board of directors to cupboard Minister Bikramjit Majithia, within the drug importing racket. Majithia is brother of Union Minister Harsimrat Badal and brother in law of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal.The defeat of the motion may be a past conclusion because the unhappy and BJP  have a complete strength of seventy within the 117 member state assembly whereas Congress has forty four members and remaining 3 area unit Independents. unhappy last evening ridiculed the geographical region Congress for attempting to disrupt the winter session of state Assembly by deciding to support a dizzy no confidence motion that was doomed to fail.
