Miuccia's Devil Wears Prada finding

NOT each designer would take kindly to their name getting used within the title of a movie that shows off the worst stereotypes of the style trade, however Miuccia Prada took it in her stride once 2006's  The Devil Wears Prada  was free, despite having initial reservations.

I was terrified- the book was awful," she told Italy's Corriere della Sera of the big-screen adaptation of  Lauren Weisberger's novel. "The film, on the opposite hand, was fun.

Starring Oscar-winning actresses Streep and Hathaway, with a anaglyph from Gisele Bündchen, the film was a runaway success, grossing over $120 million at the America box workplace. Pakistani monetary unit Wintour - wide believed to be the inspiration for Streep's magazine editor character, Miranda Priestly - showed similar amiability to Miuccia, attending the big apple premiere of the film carrying Prada.
